        PIXA™slabs with a precise Grid pattern were used to create an in-floor video display for this Ralph Applebaum Associates design. The modular tiles were mounted to an access floor system with video LED boards underneath. Light points in the slabs match the LED pixels and clearly transmit video through the floor, creating a video display flooring system. The video is programmed to display a rippling pattern when the slabs are stepped on, leading to a rippling floor activated by the step.
